In this session, I will share my journey over the past six months as I explored what it means to be a tech leader for my development team. The definition of a tech leader can often be confusing. Is it a manager, the most tech-savvy or outspoken person in the room?
I will also address what you should consider before taking on this role. What pitfalls, benefits, and leadership styles contribute to creating an environment where team members feel empowered to control their work, foster idea creation, and thrive in collaboration?
Attendees will gain insight into the importance of problem-solving leadership, the necessity of interpersonal skills, and the realization that becoming a tech lead is not merely a title change but a significant shift in mindset and responsibilities.
